ping

I am not able to ping across my serial line. Here is what I hope is the information that is needed. I am logged into my console port. This is a

2501 router running 12.0. I have configured the e0 interface with address 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.224. The serial interface is configured with a point to point setup and addressing is as follows: s0 = 192.168.3.252 255.255.255.224 s1 = 192.168.3.251 255.255.255.224. I have ip routing "on". I have configured a static route to 192.168.3.252 to e0. When I ping the simulated serial line, it fails. When I ping my ethernet connection, it works no problem. This all occurs from the console port, not a telnet. Can someone help?

Thanks, Neal

I didn't think IOS would let you configure two interfaces in the same subnet.
