Hi,
depending on the installed version of IOS, I cannot enter anything into the console while output is not impaired. The cable is fine and the problem is not present until I boot IOS up (e.g. I can enter rommon). This happens on a Cisco 1401 with 24MB RAM and 20/16MB Flash.
The following releases are affected: 12.3(12c), 12.3(15), 12.3(15a),
12.3(13b) while 12.3(3h), 12.3(10d), 12.3(3i) and 12.3(6f) are not.Is this a bug in IOS or am I missing something?
