Cisco VPN Client - save password option

Anyone know how to disable the option to 'save password' on the VPN Client? We don't want users to be able to do this at my company

crypto isakmp client configuration group MyGroup no save-password

I meant on the pc client side - there's a box you can tick to save password. The only way to get rid of this password is to use the option 'Erase Password' in the Edit coniguration. Of course the user changes his password in the office and locks himself out of VPN (Windows/VPN password are sync)

ok...then just locate "Profiles" folder under VPN client's working directory and then find file with *.pcf extension named by your VPN profile... Just open it with some text editor and then locate: 'SaveUserPassword=1' line and change 1 into 0.

Let me know if it has been useful to you...

Perfect-thanks for the tip!

Except that it needs ! before the entry otherwise it gets overwritten each time.!!
