A leader in the Internet financial industry is seeking a Telecom Manager with at least 5 years of Telecom management experience in managing Cisco IPCC/IPT platforms. Primary Responsibility: Manages the daily operation of the company's voice services and advanced call routing platform. Evaluation and installation of all Cisco VoIP Telephony platforms. Oversees the installation and repair of voice applications and networks. Negotiates contracts with vendors, monitors cost effectiveness and recommends upgrading of appropriate systems. Develops long-range plans for telecommunications systems. Communicates status of telecommunications projects to senior management. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel with experience in Cisco IPCC/IPT to ensure the efficient operation of the department. Incorporates fault tolerance into the software design and into the platform architecture. Candidate will be responsible for managing Engineering staff that develops all internal call routing in a multiple Call Center environment. Candidate will evaluate new telecommunications products and solutions based on internal requirements. The Telecom Manager is responsible for all carrier circuit and services engineering, acquisition and capacity planning. Candidate should have a strong voice background and have demonstrated skills on Telecommunication installs and projects in a VoIP environment. The Telecom Manager interfaces with internal customers for engineering new solutions and works closely with Voice Operations on installations, troubleshooting and serves as mentor to less senior developers. Knowledge of Cisco IPCC/IPT, telephony architectures, Cisco IP-IVR and developing telephony call flow applications is required. This position will use provisioning decision support tools such as AT&T Interactive Advantage. Assist the Director in driving Telecom projects to completion and assume leadership responsibilities in the day to day operations of the business. Salary is 95-120k plus bonus.
