We are experiencing authenication issues with an odbc connector and a ms 2000 sql database across a pix. the sql authenication works fine when on the same side of the pix as the database, but times out when crossing it. ODBC connector inside pix, sql database outside of pix in dmz.
we've tried these 2 lines to solve this with no success.
fixup protocol sqlnet 1521 fixup protocol sqlnet 66
there is only a blanket allow acl in place on the pix and all networking is okay..... pings etc.
