Job Title: Manager, Network & Corporate Messaging

In this mission-critical role, the Network Manager will manage the network connectivity and corporate messaging team through its daily activities. The successful candidate will have strong experience with Routing and Switching, especially in the area of configuration, design and troubleshooting large-scale networks.
This position is ideal for someone who loves the technology that they work with, has a customer-centric attitude, and the ability to lead a small team to achieve our Infrastructure directives while implementing their vast knowledge and experience into our environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Network Manager you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and monitoring all of comScore's network Infrastructure & Corporate Messaging. Specific responsibilities include: =B7 Responsible for all network operations, to include routing and switching design, configuration and troubleshooting in a Cisco environment. =B7 Responsible for corporate messaging environment comprised of email and instant messaging. =B7 Troubleshoot connectivity and latency issues =B7 Design and implement new network solutions =B7 Manage a small network team resources and personnel, and provide guidance on projects as it is needed. =B7 Oversee Active Directory and Exchange operations for an international infrastructure. =B7 Carry a pager 24 x 7 to be contacted in an emergency. 24x7 is not a rotation, everyone is responsible for their functional area. Average1-2 times a week (usually can be fixed remote) 1-2 times a month (actually in Data Center for emergency)
QUALIFICATIONS The qualified candidate must possess all of the following: =B7 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. =B7 CCNP or CCIE Certification is STRONGLY desired. =B7 2+ years in a management role =B7 4+ years experience with routing and switching, and experience with Cisco Routers, Extreme Networks Black Diamond line, Barracuda SPAM firewall, Netscreen VPN routers and Cisco VPN concentrators is strongly preferred. =B7 4+ years experience with VPNs and firewalls. =B7 4+ years experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange =B7 Experience installing and administrating Windows 2000/2003 server. =B7 Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team. =B7 Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to multi-task.
