Hello,

I have an 1100 WAP currently running 12.3-7 JA1. I want to be able to use it as a wireless adapter for a machine that only has RJ4 ethernet and anyway it's in a really problematic location. Can this be done?

I have been messing around with this for a few days now and I reckon that the answer is no. Any suggestions?

Thanks Jonathon

Yes, this can be done given the following:

- AP1100 is configured for "station-role workgroup-bridge"

- the root AP to which the AP1100 is associating is a Cisco Aironet AP.

Ahh I see now. My problem was that I was trying to get my 1100 to authenticate with an AP from a different manufacturer. Doh!
