Connecting a Switch to a Router

Hey,



I have a 1900 Switch, 2501 Series Router and 2 Ethernet Transceiver. Can someone explain how to connect these 2 Cisco devices together in detail,..so that they can communicate with each other. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
