Broadcasting in 802.16e

802.16e seems to be divided into mesh (point-to-point) and point-to-multipoint (hub & spoke) architectures. One way of accomplishing broadcasting in a hub & spoke architecture is: spoke to hub, then hub to all spokes. This appears to be part of the standard. Does 802.16e via mesh provide for (define) another means (mechanism) for broadcasting? Possibly peer-to-peer broadcasting? Or is the hub & spoke mechanism the one and only means for broadcasting in 802.16e?
