If you're talking about the LAN side, I used mine with a 14M cat5 cable. Can't comment about the WAN side.

The WAN connection on the RT314 is 10Mbps. So far so good.
Some of the smaller routers hit a performance wall at somewhere between
5 and 15 Mbps. The older Wireless Linksys does, especially if running the modified Sevasoft software.You router should probably work OK but these little boxes do have their limits. The worst that happens is that you have to get a newer router with a little more "oomph". 8-)
