I've got problems configuring my modem with Windstream DSL. I got a non-standard modem (for Windstream)-it's a Actiontec GT704-wg.
I know the PVC settings for Windstream are VPI: 0 and VCI: 35, encapsulation is PPPoE, the Primary DNS is 166.102.165.13 and Secondary DNS is 207.91.5.20.
When I input these, the DSL light still flashes and the Status remains at "connecting..."
Are there any other settings peculiar to this modem that I might have missed? Windstream offer very limited support for non-standard modems.
Am using OS X.
Any other reasons this connection doesn't work?
