DSL on a rollover line.

Nov 10, 2004 1 Replies

I'm will be installing a network in a store that will have DSL. The normal phone installation is a primary line, a rollover line and a FAX line with DSL. Verizon screwed up and is putting DSL on the rollover line. Will this cause any issues with DSL? I know that I'll have to put filters on all the voice jacks.

Thanks.

Rollover is a thing done in the CO routing tables. It has no effect on DSL service. Consider wiring up a filter at the entry point for the store.
