hi what cable and connectors should i be using , i want to make a direct connection to my wireless card for my laptop, i have got it open , found the solder pads, but need to know what to use /

I think he wants to attach an external antenna.
i've got a direct connection from my laptop to my wireless card and it doesnt use any cable, it simply plug into the pcmcia port, usb port or cf port (whichever is applies).

in that case, shielded, but i doubt you will benefit from all this
