Security on Wi-F-

Can someone tell me how to secure my wireless network? I'm using a Cisco Aironet 350 Access Point. I've tried and researched but I'm missing something.

Thanks Kevin

Thanks, I've look at most of these links and followed directions; however, whenever I enable WEP, I cannot connect to the wireless LAN.

You do realise that you also have to enter the WEP key at the PC too?

No, I guess that's my next step.

Well, rebooted the AP and reinstalled the WEP keys and all is working.

Copy and paste the WEP key from the AP into Windows and if that doesn't help, describe *exactly* what you've done, what the client is, what drivers or whether you're using Windows Zero Config etc.

This product has reached end-of-sale or end-of-life status; it cannot be ordered and may no longer be supported.

It has frequently been mentioned in this NG to try using HEX instead of ASCII when encountering problems with WEP keys.
