Hello I was helping a friend yesterday add a wireless laptop to his home network. We had to logon to his WAP to get the 64bit wep which was not easy because he initially could not remember his password to get into the WAP. I was just wondering would there had been a way that I could have retrieved this from one of his other machines that was on that network? Just curious?

If one of the other machines was XP and the driver for the card was installed using the O/S Device Manager, which you can configure the card there too for WEP etc etc, you could have gotten that information there.
