newby network question

I want to set up a wireless network to connect our new laptop to the pc. The new laptop is vista, and it has the wlan. But my pc is xp and it doesn't. I currently use a speedstream 4200 to connect to broadband. What do I need to get it running?

A "wireless router". Lots to choose from. The router/NAT takes care of connecting more than one computah to your DSL modem. The wireless part takes care of connecting your new laptop.

I'll assume your PC will be connected with a CAT5 cable. However, if you add an internal wireless PCI card, or an external wireless USB client adapter, it can connect via wireless.
