I have a pc connected (ethernet cable) to wireless router. I am trying to share files from PC to laptop (wifi access to router).
I'm sure I'm going to have to set up IP addresses and firewall rules.
Is their a guide on the net?
TIA

Typing "How to setup windows file sharing" into Google resulted in:
etc.... Amazing what Google will find.
Thanks for the help... OK...I have the network setup and the laptop recognizes it, however I get an "access denied" when trying to connect to it?

Wait a minute, while I boot up my crystal ball.... Ah, it is becoming somewhat clearer. I see a computer of unknown pedigree and operating system. I see a hazzy blur of wired and wireless contrivances of unknown origin. However, I fail to see any instruction manuals or docs, either online, CD, or printed. This is bad. My crystal ball predicts a bleak future of eternal frustration if you continue on your present path of limited equipment disclosures, paraphrased error messages, and failure to properly utilize Google searches.
