Gentlemen,
I do not see much information on monitoring wrt300n anywhere on the net. I am wondering if it supports SNMP. I don't see any option in the administration console.

There are two versions of the WRT300N v1 and v2. They're quite different. You can install DD-WRT v24 alternative firmware on v1. I'm not sure about v2. DD-WRT includes SNMP. See:
I can't figure out if OpenWRT supports the WRT300N as it seems to be listed as "work in progress" with little progress.
