Wireless Security

Is your computer clock correct as you seem to be a day ahead of me?

I think I reset the day and time. Is the screen shot where i set up the key users need to type in? Do I have to be connected wired to the modem to do this?

Thanks

Where it says "WPA shared Key" is where you input your WPA password, assuming you have selected WPA. If you set the "Key" using a wireless link then once the changes to the router have been saved your link will be disconnected from the router until you enter the "Key" into your computers wireless network settings for your network.

I have a linksys router. How do you set up the network key for someone trying to access the network from outside. I know how to get to the router menus.

thanks
