Yes, it's possible. You need to configure both wireless cards to operate in "Ad Hoc" mode instead of "Infrastructure."
Keep in mind that Ad Hoc is extremely insecure by default. You should enable at least WEP, and preferably WPA, if you don't want to risk having someone eavesdrop.
