ADHOC mode to the network internet sharing

hi everyone i have a weird situation that i want working and have worked



with before but can't seem to get it to work now



i have a network that has DSL internet, i have a PC (1) that is



connected directly to the internet



i am connected TO that PC(1) so i use the internet through that and my



PC is number 2. On MY PC (2) i have a wifu USB and i have a laptop that



has wifi also i want to use the internet on through PC 2 NOT PC 1. PC 2



has two network adapters, one to the network and one wifi, so please



tell me the settings so i can use internet and the network properly



from the laptop without wires using ADHOC mode to PC2 whcih has



internet on PC1



i remember bridging both network adapters but that isn't working now



please advise thanx.

That's pretty much it (bridging), but if you installed a firewall (or SP2 with a firewall) you will have to make changes/exceptions..

Did you set up ICS (internet connection sharing on PC1) If so you will have to terminate ICS on PC1 and run it on PC2. It should set everything up for you. Just follw the wizard.
