If the price frightens you, consider that if you both can access the internet, you can talk for *FREE*. You merely need to both have the same software. (and a microphone, of course) If you both have computers, you talk for free. Yes, there are many sites. one even gives you 30…

It is free in the FREE world. My friend in Moscow stopped using Skype because his ISP charges him for traffic. He spoke to someone in Poland for an hour and then discovered he had to pay a few dollars for it. :(
