I've got a Merlin Legend R7 system with an 800 GS/LS-ID connected to 4 loop-start lines all of which are answered by the automated attendant in a 007 MLM voicemail card.
Caller ID works about 80% of the time.
On average, 1 of 5 calls shows up at the destination extension with "No Caller ID". I know the telco sent it, because I've been monitoring the incoming line with a test-set that displays caller ID. I've set the overflow delay so that the call isn't transferred to the automated attendent until well after the second ring starts.
It seems to be a general problem and not specific to a incoming line.
Has anybody else seen problems like this?
What can I do to fix it?
