I have a need to receive notifications of new e-mail on my numeric

Given the availability of a UNIX box, all you need is 'procmail', 'hylafax', (or 'kermit', depending on the pager message interface you have available) and something like 4 lines of a procmail 'recipe' (script) to tie them together.
