TL250 questions!

If anyone is familier with the DSC tL250 I have a few questions that I cannot find answers to on the web!



I have an older alarm system. The DSC 832.



Can I add a DSC TL250 to it for web communication and interface?



I use Macintosh computers. If I can use a TL250 with the 832 will the "web" interface work from the Macintosh platform? Can I do firmware upgrades if they're needed? The DSC website mentions of course that it is compatable with a slew of Windows operating systems but, I'm used companies neglecting to mention that "whatever" functionality is built into the Mac system and that they will also work. Unfortunately this may not be the case with the DSC alarm system...



Any help would be great. I'l tried the DIY forums and found much info.

1st generation 832 may not work properly with T-250 I do not think mac is compatible either you need to talk directly to techs at DSC who have list of what is and what is not compatible as your dealing with many variables.

Thanks. It looks like I'm going to be upgrading to the 1832. Someone suggested an IP BAT. I'm still checking out the Macintosh compatiblity thing.
