Hey guys, long time no see.
Question...Is the Uplink 1500 compatible with the GE Simon 3? Has anyone actually used this combination? A prospective customer has, and wants to keep his Simon, but wants to add cell backup. While I know I'll need an aux power supply for the Uplink, will the external siren output on the Simon trip the Uplink?

Yep. Hook up a relay to it. DPDT would do the trick.
the new simon have outputs built in.
The Uplink 1500 is cheaper, but I have gotten to prefer the Telular TG-100 because it does complete reporting not just generic "alarm activated" reporting.
I have been slowly phasing out my Uplink 1500s.
