Hi,
I need to put some kind of outdoor motion sensor that will provide an audible tone in front of my house pointing at my driveway. Does anyone have any recommendations? Something I could perhaps order online?
It does *not* have to connect to my alarm system.

I have 1 optex motions on each side of my house to alert me if anyone walks up to it. They are excellent units.

I've sold both to clients and they are happy with them. The VA6000 is fun since you can program it to say anything.
I have had this one installed with a single sensor for a couple of years. It works fine, but as with all exterior PIRs, is susceptible to false alarming. Changing the battery once a year is a bit of a pain if it's mounted high.
Is that in case the Binky guy comes snoopin'?? :-)

I posted that over a week ago. Donno what happened, but...I didn't do it!!!
I've sold a number of them online. The range is good and as long as can recall Optex' products have not given us problems. Wish I could say the same for some of the other RF stuff I've tried.
