Re: Motion Detectors going bad inactive areas

Seems like the motion detectors in low traffic area or no traffic areas have to be replaced more often then the ones in active areas. Has anyone else experienced this? Dave

I have to replace so few motions sensors I'm sure I don't have enough data to put together statitistically significant numbers on that.

I have however noticed that when I have problems with a motion sensor I find I have problems with that brand and model in almost every installation.

What is the temperature of the inactive area? What is the reason for replacing them?
