Nortel BCM400 With Voicemail

Mar 05, 2008 3 Replies

A little , okay alot new to this. Seems like a simple problem. We have a need for one of the existing lines in our office NOT to go to voicemail. It needs to ring forever, no answer , no nothing. It doesnt have a voicmail box assigned to it. I took off the forward to no answer extension. And If i wasnt standing by our main control set i would not have seen this happen. When i call the number, it rings 5 or

6 times, than on the control set (main number) it displays DRT NUMBER ( the actual phone its being forwarded from)

What am i missing???

Thanks

Get trunk number and select answer N in voice mail.

Or set DRT to no in system program.

DRT Delayed Ringing Transfer transfers non answered call to prime set on line. Check to see what line is primed to. I personally always delete prime sets on lines just for this reason.
