BayStack 253 password reset

I have an old BayStack 253 Hub from work which I'm trying to configure to use with some Solaris boxes but I can't get it to pass 100 Mbit. I cannot get into the Main configuration menu - it is asking for a password and I've tried all the "defaults" that I can think of. I can get into the initial configuration menu at power up with C and have reset the EEPROM back to factory default, but it still wants a password to get in.

Does anybody know how to reset this Hub's password so that it can be re-configured?

Thanks,

Steve W.
