anyone know why zonealarm (free) leaks memory ?
I've tried disabling / enabling all combinations of the settings but it still eats up memory until there's no (or very little) free physical memory left
I've disabled it and using windows firewall at the mo', is it secure enough ?

Because they won't fix it. It's been doing that for years, they just let it leak. Use sygate, you be much happier.
Don't know why they don't fix it, but I noticed memory leaks in ZA Pro
5.5 also. Seemed to also have problems with 4.5. I went to something else. I don't need programs with obvious leaks...Have something to add? Share your thoughts — no account required.
