No, the user selects Allow/Ask/Block for (internet connecting) applications/services and assigns remote port numbers where each can connect (blocking all other ports for each). The user creates Advanced Rules based on following parameters: allow/block, addresses, ports/protocols, incoming/outgoing, and applications. The Advanced Rules five tabbed pages are actually templetes for using these parameters. Under options there is a page with about 18 firewall functions that can be enabled/disabled. Everything is set percise--no zones. Casey
