Aports a security risk?

Yea, I don't use either Norton or McAfee stuff. I did like Norton Ghost but they didn't write the code anyway. I hear Drive Image from Terabyte is better than Ghost. I thought it was kind of weird them saying Aports is a security risk but just wanted to make sure. I've heard of Norton flagging progs as a security risk before when in fact it wasn't.
