Hi. How can I force the light beams to break the fiber cladding? So there will a light leakage from the side of the unjacketed fiber optic cable. Is it possible?

I think if you bend a fiber into a radius smaller than the manufacturers recommended minimum radius, light can start leaking out (total internal refraction is lost) well before the fibers are damaged.
