network card speed

Hi there, Is there a utility in windows that I can measure speed of the network card, for windows NT4, on an Ethernet LAN? Thanks a lot, Calin

Tricky. How would you know whether the rate-limiting step is due to the network card, or due to the Northbridge, or due to the IP stack, or due to interrupt response time?

If you set up a test involving different network cards in the same configuration, you could judge that any consistant measured speed differences are associated with the different cards (or their different drivers), but measuring the actual speed of a single card in isolation is difficult.
