Hi, We have a 2511 console switch connected to various devices via an octopus cable, its configured with 16 lines. However noticed something strange (and intermittent), when we telnet to the 2511 console switch port to connect to a cisco switch 6509, sometimes the terminal scrolls down about 20 lines and then you have to put tbe user password in again, its as though the 2511 is sending something weird character to it. It only happens now and again. Weve changed all the cables and connectors.
Any ideas? This is all we have configured on the 2511
line 1 16 transport input telnet telnet speed 9600 9600 stopbits 1 line aux 0 line vty 0 4 login local ! end
