Hi guys,

As part of me testing i've loaded it and i've a problem with my PPTP connections i've setup on my routers, i can access them normally from windows 2000 and XP but not from Vista

vpdn-group pptp ! Default PPTP VPDN group accept-dialin protocol pptp virtual-template 1 ! interface Virtual-Template1 description PPTP Connection ip unnumbered Loopback0 peer default ip address pool pptp ppp encrypt mppe 40 ppp authentication ms-chap !

Any idea what might not be working?

Any ideas welcome at this point.... as it would happen still works with a ISA server

Hi,

These two are the only things that came to my mind... ppp encrypt mppe 40 ppp authentication ms-chap

Since 40bit and ms-chap are not very secure maybe they are disable by default in Vista.

Regards, Gabriele

Yeah your right Gabriele,

Older versions of ms-chap is not supported in vista, i'm now testing it with this and works fine.

! interface Virtual-Template10 ip unnumbered Ethernet0 peer default ip address pool default ppp encrypt mppe auto ppp authentication ms-chap ms-chap-v2 !
