Cisco 857, VPN, VPDN, PPTP, connection, but no IP connectivity?!

Hi,

I am trying to set up VPN (VPDN, pptp) with the built-in Windows XP VPN client.

I can vpn in without problems. I get the following output from IPCONFIG /all

PPP-adapter Beschrijving . . . . . . . . . . .: WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface Fysiek adres. . . . . . . . . . . : 00-53-45-00-00-00 DHCP ingeschakeld:. . . . . . . . : nee IP-adres. . . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.200 Subnetmasker. . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255 Standaard-gateway . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.200 DNS-servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 83.143.245.36 83.143.245.37

It appears to connect fine and I can ping the router itself, however, I cannot access anything else. However that gateway of 192.168.1.200 just seems weird, because my Cisco 857 has a LAN IP

of 192.168.1.1 /24 Shoulden't it be 192.168.1.1? because that's what's used in my normal

LAN connection (non-pptp)

Pinging to a host in my subnet:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ping 192.168.1.50

Pingen naar 192.168.1.50 met 32 bytes aan gegevens:

Time-out........

My Cisco config file [trimmed & commented a bit]

vpdn enable ! vpdn-group 1 ! Default PPTP VPDN group accept-dialin protocol pptp virtual-template 1

interface Virtual-Template1 ip unnumbered Vlan1 peer default ip address pool vpdn-ipadressen ppp encrypt mppe auto required ppp authentication ms-chap ms-chap-v2 !

[below is my the LAN interface of my C857] [it as IP aof 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0]

interface Vlan1 description $FW_INSIDE$ ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 ip access-group 101 in no ip redirects no ip unreachables no ip proxy-arp ip flow ingress ip flow egress ip nat inside ip virtual-reassembly ip route-cache flow ip tcp adjust-mss 1452 !

[this is the pool op VPDN IP adresses] ip local pool vpdn-ipadressen 192.168.1.200 192.168.1.202 [this is the ony route I have to dialer1, for ADSL connectivity] ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Dialer1

Questions: Are there missing routes ? Why is the subnetmask op my PPP VPN 255.255.255.255 while my LAN is 255.255.255.0

Thanks in advance, Steven

my network:
