SNMP Trap Link-Status

Sep 06, 2005 2 Replies

I'm trying to turn off 'SNMP Trap Link-Status' on a 4500 with IOS 12.2 When I try to use this command 'no snmp trap link-status' in a 'interface range' on a module, I get this error:

% Range command terminated because it failed on FastEthernet4/1

I can use this command on each indivual port and works fine but not on a interface range.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

interface range is not supported on all Cisco models. Usually on supported on later L3 switches
