Hi,
Currently I have 2 X T-1 multilink'd into a Cisco 2811. I just ordered a new 10MB Metro Ethernet circuit. Would you recommend plugging the ethernet handoff from the carrier directly into a firewall bypassing the router?
Thanks,
Chad

You can answer that simply enough yourself - is there anything you need to do with your new metro circuit that can't be done on your firewall? Running a routing protocol might be an example of this.
I was also thinking of that, if I wanted to add redundancy and add some T-1 lines for backup, I would need to run BGP.
Thanks for the insight...
