In my cisco 2600 router i've enabled the PPPoE server. I have an issue when a client disconnects and reconnect to the server. When a client disconnects from the server without sending an LCPTerm-Req and tries to reconnect before the keepalive timer in the cisco 2600 expires, the cisco 2600 is creating a new virutal interface for this connection. Because of this i am not able to use the new interface,since 2 interfaces are existing.
It is not terminating the old one, even though the connection is from the same MAC address. Is there a way to avoid creation of multiple interfaces if the connection is from the same MAC address.
