I am trying to set up a point to multipoint wireless link using three Cisco AP1231 AP's. The central AP (with omni ant.) is set as Root Bridge and has preferred AP set to MAC address of one of the remote Non-root bridges (NR1), and likewise the Non-root bridge has preferred AP set with the MAC address of the Root bridge. This link works OK. What i'm not certain about is configuration of the second non-root bridge(NR2). This will obviously have the MAC address of the Root bridge set as its preferred device. Does the Root bridge just require a second preferred AP entry for the second non-root bridge (NR2).
