PIX 501

X-No-Archive: yes

I am Having problems with pix 501 losing a VPN connection and only restarting it after the it has been restarted.

The Remote end point is a ASM 5510. Other VPN connections (also from PIX 501s) are maintained and not affected on the ASM.

I have tried swapping out unit and the replacement unit does the same. The router in front contactable and working fine.

Config below

It appears you have 2 VPN tunnels from the Pix.... Both of them are using the same policy. Each VPN should have it's own policy.

I have taken the secondary peer on Friday. Its only there in case our main ISP fails.
