internet through vpn

is it possible to browse on the internet without vpn split tunneling? We want to make connection to a server on internet with a firewall enabled.

Only the public ip address has acces to the server behind the firewall. we are using a cisco 827 router with vpn configured.

Help us, i've the same problem! Is browsing only possible with a proxy server or split tunneling?
