Can you provide the command if there is one to disable the RX on the port defined as a SPAN destination?

Example:

If I set module 3 port 24 to be a SPAN destination, I want to know if I can turn off the receive so the port stays active even if no data is coming back.

I am running CiscoIOS on a SUP720.

monitor session 1 source interface {both | rx | tx} monitor session 1 destination interface fastethernet 3/24

You cannot configure rx on the destination port AFAIK
