I needed to remotely connect to an xp box using VNC or PCAnywhere.How do I determine the public ip address on a verizon dsl connected to a linksys router. Thanks.

1, goto the status page on the linksys, it'll tell you the IP 2, goto a website such as ipchicken.com. it'll tell you your IP
