I heard that Cisco offers discounted cisco equipment for Cisco Networking Academy students but I've looked all over the site and I can't seem to find any information on this.
Can anyone provide me with a link to it?

I would suggest that you refer this question back to the person who gave you this information and maybe they can help you. Clearly they know something more than many of us involved in the Networking Academy Program.
