The AT command set is associated with standard POTS modems such as v.90 and v.92 modems.

Cable and DSL modems are NOT POTS modems and do not use AT command sets.

So you first lesson is to know what modems are and their variant applications.

I 'm on a project to that require me to deal with modems, however I know nuts about AT commands. Anyone can recommend me any links / websites that I can learn from?
