Problem With TD1232

Well We have a master/slave system here with one TD1232 with a plus of

4 outside lines and 16 Extensions, that means 12 Outside, 32 extensions, and another one TD1232 with 4 outside lines more. After a power shoutdown of the building the slave TD1232 stop working at all.. We lost our configuration and we have problems with the lines, all looks fine.. but I don't know what can be the problem

When you reboot the dual cabinet systems you need to do a certain procedure. The newer versions -5, -6, -7 do not need this, but it might help even if you have newer systems.

When the dual systems boot up, they need quiet time to sync together. The way to be sure of this is to disconnect ALL extensions and co lines to both cabinets, then reboot and WAIT 5 minutes before connecting anything.

If you lost programming during the power outage, then there may be a bigger problem- check that the system reset switch that says "normal/clear" is set to "normal" on both cabinets.

Be sure to get good battery backups to keep both cabinets alive during power failure to help prevent this type of problem.
