I have this print server set up as ad-hoc mode so I can connect to it when ever i need to print something. I use WPA on my wireless network in my home and the print server is not compatible with WPA but right now until i get my 2nd pc back in service the print server is also connected to my hard wired network as well as being in ad-hoc mode. Being setup as ad hoc and connected to my hardwired network, does this leave my network open to any vulnerabilities? the print servers ad-hoc mode is not security enabled as of now but as soon as my other pc is back up, I plan on enabling WEP on the printserver and taking it off the lan. thanks for any info.
